GEMS Participation Grants for N&G 2025

Are you passionate about advancing your career in nutrition & growth? GEMS is excited to offer Participation Grants for delegates interested in attending N&G 2025. This grant will cover the registration fee for selected applicants, providing them with the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge medical discussions, network with global peers, and contribute to improving patient outcomes.

About GEMS

GEMS (Global Education in Medical Science) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing education in healthcare and science through continuous medical education (CME) initiatives. Our ultimate mission is to support the global healthcare community by fostering knowledge-sharing that drives improvements in patient care.

As part of our ongoing commitment to education, we are introducing Participation Grants to assist delegates in attending N&G 2025. These grants are designed to support early-career professionals, students, and researchers from diverse backgrounds, ensuring broad participation at the upcoming congress.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for a GEMS Participation Grant, applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Connection to the Congress Knowledge Area: Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate a strong connection to nutrition & growth. Applicants should provide clear evidence of their interest and explain how attending the event will support their career development and contribute to the field.
  • Career Stage: We would prioritize early-career professionals (those who completed their final degree within the past 10 years), students, and researchers. Mid-career professionals may be considered, specifically if they have submitted high-quality abstracts or a strong plan for disseminating conference insights within their home institution or community.
  • Geographical Representation: We aim to support delegates from as many countries as possible, with special consideration given to applicants from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).
  • Diversity and Equity: GEMS is committed to ensuring diversity and equity in the selection process for Participation Grants. We believe that a diverse and inclusive healthcare community is essential for driving global advancements in science and patient care. In evaluating potential candidates, the selection committee will take into account factors such as gender, race, ethnicity, and other aspects of diversity to ensure fair representation from across the global community.
  • Past Recipients: Those who have previously received Participation Grants will generally be deprioritized in favor of new applicants.
